CEREC™ – Same-day crowns
CEREC™ is a technological system that allows for the fabrication of all-ceramic tooth restorations in a single visit. Many restorations require several visits to the dentist, but with CEREC’s™ system, a natural-looking restoration can be custom created for you in less time, assuring you of a more comfortable dental experience. A clean, digital impression of your teeth allows the Omni Dental team to create a customized, porcelain restoration on site, while you wait.
3D Cone Beam Imaging
3D Cone Beam Imaging is fast, simple and completely painless. With a single 10-second scan your dentist can see computer-generated views from any angle and in different magnifications, of the relationships between bones, teeth, airways, nerves and tissues; and to plan or evaluate your treatment. 3D Cone Beam Imaging does all of this while operating with a lower dose of radiation than traditional CT scan!
Hydro Floss®
The HYDRO FLOSS® oral irrigator is the highest quality, most effective home treatment device of its kind. With recent reports linking oral health to numerous life-threatening diseases, which include heart and lung disease, stroke and diabetes, it has become vital to give more attention to one’s home dental care. Whether you have inflamed and bleeding gums, periodontal pockets, crown and bridge work, implants, veneers or orthodontic appliances, the HYDRO FLOSS® oral irrigator will be an added plus to your home dental care.
BiteFX™
At Omni Dental, we have received advanced training for, and are committed to the effective treatment of the destructive effects of occlusal disease. We use a consultation presentation program called BiteFX™ that uses friendly animations to explain problems in a way that makes sense to the patient. We can also combine photos of your teeth with the BiteFX animations to give you an even better appreciation of our treatment recommendations.
Soft Tissue Laser
A soft tissue laser allows your dentist at Omni Dental to provide gentle treatment when the soft tissues of your mouth are involved. Lasers are more precise than older technologies, and your healing time will be greatly diminished, letting you get back to your normal life very quickly. We use lasers during our periodontal therapy to reduce the bacteria in your mouth and to improve your treatment results.
Digital Radiographs
Digital radiographs (X-rays) are a technological advancement that result in less exposure to radiation for our patients, while providing an almost instantaneous picture for our dentists. Furthermore, digital radiographs are filmless and can be stored in our computer system for future reference. You’ll appreciate a more comfortable visit with less waiting and quicker treatment.
Cosmetic Imaging
Cosmetic imaging allows you to see how your appearance might change with the application of cosmetic dentistry. The Omni Dental team uses this technology to assist you in making the best decisions for your dental health and overall appearance. Seeing how your smile will improve helps you make the right investment for the future of your teeth.
Intraoral Camera
You see what your dentist sees. By using an intraoral camera, you will have a greater understanding of your oral health and of the treatments that the doctors are prescribing for you. The cameras also allow our dentists to diagnose problems at an earlier stage and to treat these problems before they become a crisis. Omni Dental’s use of this technology goes a long way in educating our patients about their oral health, while lessening any feelings of anxiety that some patients feel while visiting the dentist.
Digital Photography
Digital photography gives Omni Dental instant images to use for cosmetic imaging or to keep on file to track your progress. Digital images can be saved electronically and are more efficient than traditional photographs that show less detail and must be taken off-site for development. These images allow our doctors a close-up view of your teeth that improves the accuracy of your diagnosis and treatment plan.
CAESY™ Education System
The CAESY ™ Education System uses high quality, 3D graphics to show you detailed steps of the recommended procedures and why they are necessary. You will gain complete knowledge and understanding of your treatment. Relax and feel confident knowing you are making the most informed decisions for your teeth and gums.
Onset™ Buffered Anesthetic
Onset™ is an anesthetic delivery system that is more advanced than previous methods of receiving anesthetic before dental treatments. The Onset™ system raises the pH level of lidocaine with epinephrine – the numbing agent used by your doctor – to a level that coincides with your body’s natural pH level. The end result is anesthetic delivery that takes effect more quickly and is more comfortable for you. You’ll appreciate Onset™, one of many ways the team at Omni Dental makes your treatments more enjoyable.
VELscope
The VELscope is a recently developed, early oral cancer detection device that helps Omni Dental ensure your good oral health. A VELscope screening takes only a matter of minutes. The VELscope emits a high-energy, blue light that causes the tissues in your mouth to fluoresce – an action similar to glowing. Any irregular tissues emit different, usually darker fluorescence patterns, which alert the dental team that a closer look is necessary.
Carestream Digital Scanning
Carestream Digital Scanning provides superior high-resolution digital imaging to our practice. Not only does this technology allow Omni Dental to provide better quality of care, it facilitates complete treatment to our patients more quickly and with less visits.
