Dentistry has changed considerably over the past almost 40 years since I started my practice. Dentistry is not just filling teeth, it’s become more Holistic. We now know that oral health affects the entire body with direct correlation to the heart, diabetes, pregnancy difficulties and others being studied. Whereas orthodontics were more about esthetics when I was growing up, we know look at alignment and function, looking for a lifetime keeping the oral health and your teeth intact. No longer do we enter this earth without teeth and have to leave the same. The states requires only 15 hours of education every year, we Doctors at Omni double and triple those requirements so we can stay on the cutting edge of our profession Dr. Knott was married to Stella in 1975.
